Jordan Stone is a 20 year old hearing impaired youth who came into our program after being referred by Rainbow House.
*Rainbow House is an emergency Shelter for children that provide temporary shelter for abused, neglected, and/or abandoned children.
Jordan was given a self-assessment during his intake and it was at that time we discovered that Jordan would like to learn what it takes to be a good leader.
To date: Jordan has received a total of 264 units of services hours. He has been placed in Full Time Mentored Employment with Missouri Cotton Exchange. Since then he has saved 600 dollars in his savings account.
Keeping up with Jordan’s strive to become a good leader, we have Jordan signed up for both empowerment and entrepreneur summer camps. The camps are geared to supply him with self-confidence training, interpersonal skills teaching, and self-identity awareness. In addition to investigating what it will take for him to be an entrepreneur with an unconventional approach.
